Dean of Students

In this college, we are mandated to train P1 teachers for a two year certificate course.

We also offer Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) for both certificate and Diploma courses. This is a school based programme. The college is also used by the ministry of Education Science and Technology (MoEST) to host numerous forms of training – In the recent past we have hosted Teacher Proficienfy Course (TPC), Tusome Programme for primary and college language teachers, the Laptop project and SMASE among others.

Our students, embrace team work, hard work and commitment and keep the academic fire burning, bearing in mind that wisdom is like a baobab tree, a single persons hand cannot embrace it.

A reminder to our students; a wise person adapts to his / her surroundings, but a fool expects the surroundings to adapt to him / her. Virtue is power and if you want to do something you have to find a way. One who doesn’t find a way finds excuses. Don’t find excuses. Be a role model in all circles of life to the learners entrusted to you. Build team work with colleagues and stand out in the world.

The Dean of Curriculum’s office is in charge of the following academic procedures in the college;

• In take of new students each academic year in July.
• Admit students to the college and allocate them class and admission numbers
• Oversee curriculum implementation in the classrooms
• Co-ordinate teaching practice
• Co-ordinate setting, administration and marking of internal exams
• Award transcripts for internal exams
• With permission, advice and assign academic orientation duties to staff members and students
