Our College
Galana Teachers Training College
Galana Teachers Training College is a Public Teacher Training College located in Kilifi County, Magarini Sub-County, Magarini ward. It is 19.1km Northwest of Malindi town. The College was established by the community in 2013 and was registered by the Ministry of Education to offer Primary Teacher Education Certificate (P1) and Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) and diploma courses in on 16th July 2016.
On 9th March 2021 the College was re-registered to offer Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE) and Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE).
The College also offers upgrade programs from P1 and ECDE Certificate to Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (UDPTE) and Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (UDECTE)
The College was established to train both male and female teachers from all the counties in Kenya. The first principal was Mr. Luke Lagat Chebet. The first BOM Chairman was Prof. Abdullah Naji Said, PhD
